Electrolysis is the permanent removal of unwanted hair. A probe/needle is inserted alongside the hair, into the hair follicle where a small amount current is applied.
The current applied causes tissue damage to the hair follicle so that the hair eventually will not be able to reproduce.
Electrolysis can be performed mostly:
- Upper lip
- Bikini line
- Fingers and toes
