Electrolysis is the permanent removal of unwanted hair. A probe/needle is inserted alongside the hair, into the hair follicle where a small amount current is applied.

The current applied causes tissue damage to the hair follicle so that the hair eventually will not be able to reproduce.

Electrolysis can be performed mostly:

  • Upper lip
  • Chin
  • Bikini line
  • Eyebrows
  • Underarms
  • Neck
  • Chest/breast
  • Abdomen
  • Fingers and toes

How long should the treatment take?

Each individual case is different and would be assessed accordingly. The process is a gradual one and with each treatment the hair becomes less. For the first sessions weekly start, then extend to 2, 3 and 4 weeks as the hair becomes less. Eventually once or twice a year odd session.

How long is each treatment?

Sessions usually run in 5min, 10min, 15min, 20min, 30min and 1 hour and a priced accordingly.
